After many die casts and many years of collecting I'm happy to announce my first CMC addition to my collection, the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Cort (SWB) Competizione - jeez that was a mouth full! After seeing many photos of many CMC models my expectations were high! And let me tell you my expectations were met!! The die cast is outside my regular theme, but the lines of the 250 GT are too sexy to resist!
The die cast is stunning, I could write paragraphs about the details but I'll summarize the ones that stood out for me and the let the photos do the rest of the talking... The motor detail is the best I've since par none, the intricate detail and the quality of workmanship makes parts appear life-like. The leather work on the interior is again the best I've seen to date, and the dash/dial detail is absolutely stunning as well. The paint is so rich it looks wet, and the undercarriage/suspension is breath taking to say the least. All this does come at a cost though, $275US to be exact. Is it worth it, I don't know. I can say this is the first model I've personally spend more than $200 on and it could be possible my last... Enjoy the pics!
