Tamiya Masterwork Collection 1:12 Ferrari Enzo Yellow 23209

It is probably as close as it gets to having a real Enzo.
There are: 1:8 Amalgam Enzo; 1:10 Magazine Subscription Enzo; 1:12 Kyosho Enzo.
I don't think Amalgam has any opening features except for doors and it's too pricey.
Enzo by subscription isn't as refined as Tamiya even though it has sound effects. And again too pricey.
Kyosho is just a bigger BBR version as some collector said, plus Kyosho Die Cast models suffer from diecast cancer.
Oh, and there are replicas based on various cars but they aren't genuine :tut:

Is it yours? Are you going to build it? What are we talking about :money: :money:

Damn that looks AMAZING! I'd love to add a diecast from Tamiya some day, have some experience with their R/C line.

Yep, it is mine. Got it from Modelissimo in Autumn. They still have it for sale.
Sure I will build but not now cause I have no place to showcase my models at the mo, almost all of them are boxed up.
If you are to make another exception to your collection :D and add 1:12 model it must be Tamiya.
Their models are top notch. Carrera GT, Enzo, 288 GTO, Honda RA 272, Caterham. However their F50 is not really great.
I aso received Kyosho 1:12 Ferrari F40 Street in Red recently but it has serious paint blistering. :wall:
Negotiating with the seller possible options now.
Now I seriously hesitate about getting upcoming 1:12 F40 LM by Kyosho :nt:

Well, they aren't actually Die Cast models. They are made of plastic, not metall.
But it doesn't make them less impressive.
The shops seem to run out of them so I would grab one as soon as you can find a good deal.
There are three colours for Carrera GT - silver, black and yellow.
I would go for silver only. Best combination. Will make a great centerpiece of any collection. :okay:

Yes Silver would be my choice too. I'll be honest no metal at this price point doesn't really sit well... Thanks for the education piece :) I'm going to inquire with the local distributor.

Impressive!

Despite being made from plastic, I LOVE my Carrera GT.
I will take some proper pictures soon.

An old pic :
