HRN-Models

Post by Michael156 » Sat Feb 13, 2021 4:03 pm

Folks,

Hoping for some expertise and experience with HRN-Models...I am considering purchase of their 1:18 Mercedes Benz AMG Grand Tourismo concept but am wondering about quality of scale and model.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Best,
M.

Never heard of them. Seems they have taken the mould of the Model 777 from back in 2017. I quite enjoyed the model and overall execution from Model 777. See here:

I have the version by "Model 777" and I think that the review on here is relatively on the point. Is the version by "HRN Models" an exact copy of it? I am not experienced about moulds, but in case that this is so, would this not suggest that the two supposed manufacturers are linked? And might the lack of information hint at this respectively these reproductions lacking a license from Mercedes-Benz? It might also be interesting to compare the two mentioned models to the ones offered by Schuco.
