Very nice. They REALLY need to improve the rims. So far all models have been below par, hence the price point I guess.

That silver shadow line is too high. The wheels are awful too.

Yup, they definitely need to work on the wheels.

Don't know if it's worth changing the wheels by BBRs or just pass...

BBRs are still just metal filaments and not wire-laced like on CMCs

Right but this is not a CMC either. More like a sealed Hot Wheels Elite.

Another reason to pass on it, especially considering the wheels will cost as much as the model, if not more. Plus I think they're out of production now

Ilario - il1801 - 1/18 - Delahaye 175 S Roadster Saoutchik 1949 sn815023

Illario has been around for quite a long time in the 1/43rd business delivering very nice pieces of classic cars from the 30's to the 50's. Now they are introducing a new line of models in 1/18 scale. The first reference will be available around December 14. They are sealed resin and very pricey but very different subject matters. Price for this one is 412 Eur. before any taxe or shipping. Available in 3 colors.

Delahaye 175S Roadster Saoutchick 1949 or a car that always wanted to be a boat:

I think this is only limited to 20 pcs per color and mostly distributed directly by the manufacturer. But yes the market is very slim for this type of classic resin models.
