Maxi Car Lotec Sirius

Post by [KRAFTIG] » Mon Jan 26, 2015 8:56 pm

Third time is a charm? If you've been following my posts over the last year and a bit I've purchased the Maxi Car Lotec Sirius twice, both times to be burned by unscrupulous sellers claiming their model is mint in box. Well thanks to ebay seller gto288tw (highly recommended) I can finally cross this Supercar off my wish list. This isn't your finely crafted model, a little (maybe more than a little, lol) rough around the edges but nonetheless a decent model for the times. The worst part about the model In my opinion is the wheels, I hate chrome! If I can gather the courage I just might repaint them in gunmetal. Anyway enjoy the pics!

I have this, MIB, an oddball in my collection for sure. I think I paid little money for it, maybe $20-30.

That's about what this POS is worth. Worst model I ever owned, including Maistos and Bburagos.

Honestly its not always about the execution. For me who primarily collects super and sport cars this is a must have. Not the best executed model but at least I have a representation in 1:18 scale. Also definitely no where close to the worst model ever, both brands you mention have done a lot worse!

I enjoy oddball cars. So yeah, not up to my usual standards but priced right for something rare and unique.
