Amalgam's quality

Hello everyone,
I am a newbie here. Started diecast collection recently and my first 1:18 model was from Amalgam. I got a F1 SF70 in January. The package got delivered in January but I never opened it and left it on my shelf.
Finally got it opened today to see the paint has cracked on the fin on both side and a small plastic part has broken off. Thenacrylic case, the paper box everything is fine. The car is secured very well to the base as well.
I think it is quality control issue. Broken plastic part maybe can happen. But paint cracking without any external interference seems odd.
Would Amalgam repair or replace the model if it is a manufacturing defect?
**How can I attach pictures?
