About 1500 were produced in 1993 with this special Canary yellow paint. Other features include: chrome 16x7 Pony wheels; embroidered Pony headrests; embroidered yellow pony floor mats; stock spoiler; and color-match painted mirrors, hood vent, and body moldings. The yellow ones came with both black and white interiors and tops.
GMP used to give this model for "free" along with some gift certificates & some other perks for joining Tom's Garage (it actually cost $25 + shipping...an absolute bargain, which is the only reason I joined).
Looks so much better with the top down & the toneau cover in place.
GMP's 1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible "Feature Car"
Re: GMP's 1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible "Feature Car"
Nice model, thanks for the pictures.
In 1993, it was the last year of the Fox Mustang, this Canary Yellow edition was produced in only 1,500 units.
A Vibrant White edition of the convertible Mustang was also available in 1993, but GMP never produced it.

Thanks...glad you liked them.
Its pretty surprising that GMP never made the White nor the Green 7-UP cars...they had all the parts readily available. The 7-UP car in particular, was always one of my favorite Fox-Bodys. I'd much rather have one of those than this Yellow one.

I agree, the LX Seven-Up of 1990 was interesting, it was the only LX Mustang offer whit the GT 87-90 Turbine Wheels :
Only 4,103 as been produced.

yup...& that's why I like it. Cool green color & those Turbine wheels look great on the cleaner-looking LX body.
