GMP 2005 Pontiac GTO

Post by Gavin » Tue Oct 16, 2012 3:40 pm

The first of the 3 that joined my collection. A nice model, but to me, something about the exterior looks a bit off, compared to the 1:1. Still, a nice model with lots of details that has really jumped in price (paid a whopping $35 shipped for this one :o). I think the styling of this GTO has aged pretty well, considering they're 7+ years old now.

Love the modern GTO Gavin, I always wanted to add one. Do you know who makes the best example of this model to date?

You got the choice of the 2004 by ERTL and the 2005 by GMP.

The ERTL look not bad for the price 8-)

Yup...just Ertl or GMP. I read somewhere that GMP used Ertl's mold & added a bunch of detail...don't know if that's true, but they do look very similar.

The GMP is the way to go, but prices on most have these have skyrocketed.
