Guiloy Mercedes-Benz C112

Post by [KRAFTIG] » Tue Jan 27, 2015 12:14 am

My latest addition was inspired by Vegasracer's recent thread (thank you sir). I headed over to eBay to search for a street edition C112 and long behold a local buyer had one in rare Purple/Standox colour. I won the auction at $63CND and local pick up too! Guiloy isn't known for the best examples of die cats but their rare and unique subject matter makes up for it some what. I still think their Hispano Suiza HS21 GTS is by far their best model! Enjoy the pics!

You're so lucky to have this, it's my holy grail as of now, the silver one. The 1:1 is so fascinating, hard to believe they said no to 700 orders for it!

Is the 700 for 1:1 or 1:18?

1:1 actually! M-B showed it at some shows in 1991 and 700 people put down orders for it, but they never brought it into production.
