Been collecting on and off since childhood and I have a a small collection of 1:18s from back then stored away.
As an adult I picked up an interest in motor racing again and especially GT racing. Blancpain and SROs development of the GT racing scene has brought me a lot of joy for the past 5-6 years.
I started picking up some 24H Spa cars and I liked the idea of owning scale models of cars I'd spent whole 24 hours watching. Eventually I started picking up civilian cars of interesting and cool cars I'd seen in reality like the 918 Spyder I just happened to come across in an underground parking garage a few years ago.
Now I have a small assortment of racing and civilian cars, 17 in total. All 1:43 Minichamps save two 1:43 Spark cars.
I don't have the room for larger models and I think 20 might be my limit.
I just saw a AMG GTS two weeks ago so I'm on the lookout for a good 1:43 model of that.
Yeah I know, the 1:18 AutoArt looks fantastic but I just can't do it.
Anyway, that's me and my collection. Happy to have found DS.
Cheers.
