Newbie from London Saying Hi

Post by BeemerJunkie » Sat May 06, 2017 9:54 am

Hi All,

Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I came across Diecast Society a few months ago and found the news and reviews section really useful as after a hiatus from collecting I got the bug again and started to work on adding to my collection.

All my models are 1:18 only and my collection started a few years ago with the Jada Toys Big Time Muscle and Import series followed by Minichamps and AutoArt DTM race series, specifically cars like the E30 M3's and touring cars of that erra.

Currently I have been adding to my collecting with a new theme of cars I came across, namely the Liberty Walk and RWB model range by Ignition Models etc.

I was unfamiliar with resin models until this year as all the previous models I had collected were metal with opening parts. I was a bit sceptical about collecting models with nothing that opens and works but the resin models in my opinion look so damn good that I couldn't resist.

I will post up some pics from my collection over in the other room.

Look forward to chatting to everyone and hopefully getting your opinions on things.

Kind Regards

BeemerJunkie aka Adil
