I'm Kyle from the United States. I used to collect a lot of 1/64 as a little kid, but grew out of it as I got to be a teenager. I'm into my 30s now and have been into sportscar racing and other forms of racing hardcore for a good decade (mainly IMSA, WEC, IndyCar and Super GT now), and my buddy just recently re-introduced me to model cars. My goal is to not go too crazy, and to collect quality over quantity. I'd rather have something nice and that I really want rather than getting stuff just to get it.
1/18 scale is what I'm going to collect. Something big enough to really show off detail. I just received my first purchase this week, the 2012 Flying Lizard Porsche 911/997 RSR from Le Mans by Spark (I'm a huge Flying Lizard and Porsche fan). I have six other cars on order currently that are on the way or about to be on the way. Two other Flying Lizard 911s, the 2006 996 RSR by Minichamps and the 2007 997 RSR by AUTOart, the 2015 Dempsey-Proton 991 RSR by Spark, the 2016 Manthey 991 GT3-R by Spark, the 2007 Penske Porsche RS Spyder LMP2 by AUTOart and lastly the 2012 Red Bull Racing RB8 by Minichamps.
