Hi all,
Just a quick intro. Been collecting diecast model cars for 20+ year. Collect mostly Euro sports cars in mostly 1:43, have about 600, but over a few hundred 1:18 as well. In addition to road sports cars, I also have lots of F1 and LeMans cars. My favorite marque is BMW.
Love cars from the 1960's.
Was collecting a lot of Minichamps before prices skyrocketed. I'm pretty much priced out of the hobby at this point. Will selling to cover new purchases. Collected models of all price ranges, but typically not over $150. Always in search of that sweet spot of value but mainly focused on fulfilling collections.
95% of my collection is New In Box. Purchased new and only displayed in original box. Gloves and sealed acrylic cases in some cases for non-display boxes.
Sizable collection of 1:32 slot cars, but stopped acquiring those.
Also have smaller collections of HO slot cars, 1:72 Herpa cars, and 1:64 cars, and 1:24 cars.
Looking forward to contributing to this forum. If anyone wants to chat about the evolution of diecast model cars over past 25 years or trade hard-to-finds hit me up! Cheers!
