Hey, y'all.I just found this site and signed up. I'm 66 and have been building and collecting models since an early age. A few years ago I retired and closed my small ad agency. Last year, I decided to downsize and move to Florida so had an estate sale company auction off everything I had including a huge model collection. It included unbuilt kits, built cars and trucks, dioramas, and die cast cars. After I got settled, I missed my hobby, so I began collecting die cast cars again. I presently have about 125 in my collection. mostly Danbury Mint, West Coast Precision Die Cast, Franklin Mint in 1:24 scale.
My eyesight ain't what it used to be, and my hand not as steady, so I'm no longer building kits. I'm enjoying maintaining a model car website that I designed about five years ago, photographing my models and keeping my graphic chops honed.
