Hello all!
I recently purchased a "chase car" that is an Ertl Authentics 1:18 1971 Dodge Charger - first production run - at a decent price.
However, upon inspection, I noticed the hideaway headlight cover for the passenger side is the same as the driver side but the DODGE script (that is not supposed to be there) is upside down!
Someone must have put the wrong part in at the factory, because I didn't see any signs of tampering from the previous owner.
Is this a rare occurrence?
Does it make the model more valuable?
What do you think?
Re: What do you think?
Hey, errors due happen in production for some brands more so than others. Not sure what and if this will add to the particular value, as I have very little no introduction to this theme of collecting.
