The rear was sealed

It was just ....hey wait a minute i'm not revealing all my secret
It was just a small piece of metal who blocked the rear, it was like a lock, so i take it off and repaint a part off the rear end, you can see the mark in the yellow circle
At the beginning the rear was not supposed to open.

Why would they do that? Is the 1:1 built as so?

As you can see the rear is opening on the 1:1, so it's a mistake from ERTL

Very nice...still love the styling on the C5. This Ertl one looks very well done.
I have the early C5 Coupe by UT (with red interior).

Ha ha, its called magic clutch. New option offered by GM
