A 2018 Golf GTI is my daily, near perfect! And under 40K. :money: :money:
Didn't realize you got a GTI...nice! You had a Golf before as your daily, right?
Correct. I sold it to a friend in late October 2018 then picked up the GTI. Love, especially the sun-roof! :manual:

congrats! Pics/colors?

My neighbor has a '15 DSG in that dark grey & my buddy just bought his son an '18 6-speed in White Silver Metallic. I've driven both & absolutely love them.

*btw...sorry to hijack your thread

I was thinking of that colour, but since I already had the White in the MK5 I went with this unique and somewhat rare in these parts Dark Iron Blue Metallic. She is fully loaded, but I will always choose the manual over auto, so I have the six-speed manual. This is a GREAT daily driver!

It's a great car, though knowing you, the Golf R is more up your alley! :okay:

Great color choice...that would be the color I'd choose as well.

A buddy of mine has 2 Rs, one stock in blue for his wife, his is white & modded....among other cars.

Thanks. I would have considered the R, BUT priority on the next daily a must was a sun-roof. There is no option for one on the R

I had the Cooper S before that and it was my FWD experience. Hatchbacks are lots of fun but I wanted to try RWD and I think I'll stay with that. It's fun to kick the tail out here and there
