Latest purchase the RUF Rodeo Concept. Funny, I haven't bought the recent RUF SCR release. Waiting for more colours!

Nice! Does seem like up your alley. Not quite concept, but wild enough to almost be one

Accidently bought two of these, 1/18 Norev Porsche 992 GT3, course I will sell off one and also sell off the model this replaces, a Minichamps version of the same car in Shark Blue, which is a sealed model. Norev once again nails it with the quality and price, not to mention I really dig this model in the throwback 964 Mint Green color.

Normally I post my new models in my collection topic, but since this model has had a lot of negative attention, not so long ago, about the horrid QC (and I leave for a certain 24hr race in France very soon), 2 quick pictures on the kitchen counter and a headsup for everyone having it op (pre-)order.

According to the shop where I (pre-)ordered the model, this is from a second batch, arrived in Europe from China recently. The shop examined the model prior to sending (they always do anyway with all model they send) and they already told me it was in excellent condition. It arrived an hour ago and I can confirm it is, no missing parts, no decals pealing, all the CF weave lines up as well and all moving parts work as intended.

So it looks like good news for collectors expecting this (or the blue) Zonda Barchetta from LCD. It seems they improved the QC on this models latest batch.

When I have time, I will post many picture in my collection topic as usual.

my main beef is with the carbon between the door and the clamshell, it's obviously at different angles. Looking forward to seeing yours

I hadn't studied the model yet, only took it out now for a quick inspection to make sure all parts are there etc and also no pealing decals, like on the horror pictures I saw a while ago. What I meant with all weaves line up is on the panels itself, so as in no interruptions on the weave on a panel, like also some blue AA Huayra Roadsters have, because they are made for multiple decals per panel. That seems all fine.

Unfortunately it is, temporarily, back in its box, so can only check the thing again after I'm back from Le Mans.

You got me worried now. When I zoom in on my own photo it indeed seems not to line up between the panels :shame:

Nice adds gents!

I'm holding out for the BC release, based on me seeing the White version in the flesh this model is exceptional. Again, this is my opinion :)

Added a few 911s to my 1/43 rally car collection... surprisingly I had none before.

Honestly, they're just fine for the price, though I am not too picky about 1/43. Put into perspective, the Spark there was the same price as all 3 of the IXO combined and not 3x better quality.

Love that Mint Green! The Norev is a fantastic model & cheaper than the Minichamps.
