Just be super careful! Watch where you hold the model. The plastic over the driver's canopy looks like thick linoleum or something in the pictures, but in real life it's extremely thin and delicate. The belts as well (for the hood). Oh and keep in mind, when you remove the headreast, the rear end just falls off cause the head rest is holding it in place. So do not ever remove the head rest without holding the rear end in your other hand.

Yeah the D-Type I have received but I haven't put it together. Think I need to in order to see that there are no little issues
How long did it take to receive your D-type? I ordered one during the Exoto 70% discount sale one week ago and they still haven't ship. I will follow up with them but I'd love to hear from your experience.
Congrats for your D-Types. What was the lowest price it went for with all the discounts?

Thanks for advice. I should have bought rolling chassis LOL so I don't all that hassle with fitting body panels.

Polar opinion here - fantastic colour but wrong car. Guess I am in minority here.

Great addition and certainly not the wrong colour for this car. I'm still in doubt which colour to choose. This green or the more aggressive cumberland grey.

I have this Aston Martin in the same color at my local post office waiting to be picked up.
Best color In my opinion for a British gentlemen driver 's muscle car.

Thanks guys. The bond film is way before my time, so while to others (who have seen the film) it's the colour to have, to me it's an old man's brown lol

Are the chrome ornaments surrounding the windows/windshield perfect? The brown model had some imperfections, like small chips in the chrome. And I've seen at least a dozen with this problem. Bad QC I guess.

I haven't seen any glaring marks in the chrome, but I'll write the review and have a closer look, now that you mentioned it. You wanna talk about QC faults? One of my mirrors isn't mounted in all the way, and the inner chrome trim on the driver's seat is missing completely  To be honest, I would have never noticed it had I not compared the interior to the 1:1 pictures
