Age-old argument. I wasn't into the idea of reselling either 5 years ago... and now that I wanted to get rid of some, I'm happy to know I'm not selling at a loss at least.Marcel171281 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 3:23 amWell, don't know about you, but I'm not in this hobby to make money, or even thinking about making profits and seeing these models as investments. I'm in for the passion for cars, and no way I will ever sell anything for the purpose of making money, so even if they go for a 1000 in a couple of years, I couldn't care less. I buy these models to display (nothing in boxes, what is the purpose of that?) and admire.
You can always get into the hobby for appreciating the work put into it along with prospective value appreciation. Nothing wrong with wanting both.
Mint. Came from a first owner. I remember when this was only $200. Won it on auction for $325. Do I wish I would've bought this when it was $200? Sure (if I knew it was going to have such high demand), but I didn't because the solid mesh grill was ugly.
