CMC Auto Union Typ C Bergrenner 1936/37 - Hill Climber

So many times I've wanted to purchase this piece from CMC. It doesn't really fit my collection, but you can't dispute how awesome looking and unique this piece is. Welcome to the collection!

those are so tempting! That's one of my favorites with the dual rear wheels.

I've been tempted for years... A couple of times as far as in the cart, each time I did not pull the trigger LOL. This time I did... Yes, the dually is my all-time fav :okay:

Well, the fanfare was short-lived, the retailer just emailed me stating the item was sold 3 days ago via eBay. Boo! I guess I'm not meant to own one LOL

Very unique piece. I have the #111 winner of the 1937 Freiburg Hillclimb driven by Hans Stuck.

It truly is, thanks.

It was my next choice, BUT I prefer the non-decal piece here. On a side note, I've yet to hear from the German seller, thankfully I only pay via PayPlay. Hopefully, this won't go south too! :fingercrossed:

Hope so! On a side note CMC don’t have decals, they’re painted numbers. But I know you prefer the “clean” version.

This one is an oddball, for sure, but I love it. 1/18 scale Porsche 911 RSR from GT Spirit. For those wondering, the unique colors are based on a real car. The model is nice, overall, but I think the rear is slightly too high and some of the paint on mine is not great, but other than that its's a unique model in my collection.

Nice addition. Based on my understanding the model isn't truly accurate to the original, though it does look sharp :okay:
