The autoarts are decent and sell under 200 cnd. At canadian vendors still but the stance and subject matter of ignition is hard to beat.

Gavin, I certainly did consider the AUTOart, very nice model indeed but...HAROMASTER wrote:The autoarts are decent and sell under 200 cnd. At canadian vendors still but the stance and subject matter of ignition is hard to beat.
Haromaster pretty much nailed it. Stance, camber and those BBS's sealed the deal.

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
totally agree on the stance. The Ignition looks killer in that regard...much better than AA's & worlds better than Kyosho's first issue of the FD (which I have).
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
It definitely is a stunning piece. Absoutely perfect colour, Stance and wheels. Enjoy it!

Thanks Kraftig, you actually played a role in my purchasing this beauty.[KRAFTIG] wrote:It definitely is a stunning piece. Absoutely perfect colour, Stance and wheels. Enjoy it!
Back in December, when I was still lurking DS was the first time I saw this model in one of our news updates.
This kind of thing made me sign up.

Ignition is the only brand that make me want resins. Its not just the finish, they make the best wheels and tires in the business. The detail on the rubber is something else. I have Ignition tires on my modded Autoart KPGC10 and they just destroy the stock ones, so much detail.
The problem with that is that I now consider buying one just for the wheels.
Congrats on the beauty!

Thanks man, and of course why doesn't it surprise about your love for those wheels.damnyouebay wrote:Ignition is the only brand that make me want resins. To bad we're not neighbors. After I unboxed her I was thinking, to bad I don't know someone who could make me some really badass realistic pics.
Of course if we were neighbors, and I loaned her to you, imagine my reaction when I get her back only to think,
"hey man, where the hell are the wheels?"

Autoart 911 RS 2.7
Autoart 928
Spark 919 Hybrid
And a BBR acrylic case for the 919.
Yes, yes, I dislike resin models, but I love the 919. And Porsches. My thinking is that if Autoart ever do the 919 its probably gonna be half arsed like the upcoming LMP Nissan (and Toyota).

Have to agree with you on the 919. Must have for any Le Mans fan. I'm hoping to add the Spark 919 in 1:43 to my own collection sometime soon.
Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
Not the 919 but it came third in last years Le Mans

Nice.
Here you go, kwando: https://ck-modelcars.de/en/eur/p/16276/ ... /vet1804b/
GCI143, yeah, its the car to have, legendary comeback. This year was a different story, actually rooted for Toyota by the end. Such a tragedy.

Re: Post Your Latest DIECAST Purchase
Dennis, I just bought one of these for my desk. Way better than the AUTOart, BUT also much more expensive. BTW I have 1 AUTOart display for sale now
