That's an insanely nice pickup, congrats! I used to have a black 934 so I know how good it is. I have the Alfa and the white Porsche.

As for me, I went and picked up my Jager Beemer, and while I was there I noticed a 348tb (tuberculosis?) with a scuffed up box that I picked up for $70.

Wow nice score! Do you usually get these finds from Toronto Motorsports?

These are so good and highly collectible at the moment. I picked both up 3-4 years ago. Two of my favorite models :okay:

Just took delivery of this one today, Spark F1 McLaren.

One of three #5's I have (the other two are Denny Hulme GMP Can Am versions).

One of three F1 cars in my entire 500 1/18 scale model collection, the other one being the Dan Gurney 1967 Race of Champions winner.

Have to admit, not a big fan of fully closed resin models, so I am influenced accordingly. I was surprised that the orange didn't match the GMP Can Am car, but was close to the radiator inlet panel on the Yardley model.

Having been up close and personal with a Can Am McLaren at the 1969 Can Am at Texas World Speedway, I also have to admit that my aged and alcohol influenced memories suggest that the GMP orange is closer to the Can Am car, but having never been exposed to the F1 McLaren, can't attest to the accuracy of that paint.

The rear "spoiler" on the Spark doesn't match the pictures on the box, but in the era of evolving aerodynamics, I'll spot them one, as these cars were apparently changing between practice sessions, much less race-to-race.

That's how I feel too. Against resin, but willing to make F1 cars an exception because the suspension and engine are outside already. I have three Exoto F1 cars, none of which have opening panels and are not any worse for it.
