Danbury Mint.....Franklin Mint?

Post by Packard Fan » Mon Oct 19, 2020 2:58 pm

Being quite new to this forum could someone explain to me the absence of either of these companies' products? I was hoping to find reviews and other information on them, instead find no mention of them...Just seems odd.

I don't believe either brand is offering models today... Please correc me if I'm wrong? Also, none are collected by me personally with the exception Franklin Mint Big Foot. And friends that contribute the same.

Surprising Danbury Mint does occasionally put the odd diecast out there, not like days past but once in a blue moon, I was just surprised that collectors here on the DS seem more inclined to modern diecast...whereas I lean towards vehicles from the classic era. 20s 30s early 40s.which the two mints enjoyed producing.
Non the less I throughly enjoy the site and what it offers,
The reviews and information found here are enjoyable and seem quite through.

This is one of the things that makes the hobby so great, it allows one to focus their collection/theme, however, something it becomes challenging as the hobby evolves year after year and profits are placed in front of breath of assortment.
