Re: What Models did you add in 2020?
Nice additions. Thanks again for the LCD Models Pagani Huayra Roadster review, it helped! Buy the 600LT, it's even better! The Tecnomodel Ferrari 365P Berlinetta Speciale is such a beautiful model, I picked up the Red a few years back. Still the only Teconomodel piece in my collection today!
BTW, which model did you vote for?

Re: What Models did you add in 2020?
I like these kind of threads, so here we go:
AUTOart Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 (HB livery with added decals)
AUTOart Dodge Viper ACR (commemorative edition)
AUTOart Dodge Viper SRT-10 2006 (red)
AUTOart Fiat 1000TCR Abarth (grey)
AUTOart Koenigsegg one:1 (full carbon)
AUTOart Mclaren 720s (Silver)
AUTOart Pagani Huayra BC (silver/carbon)
Auto World Chevrolet Camaro Yenko (black)
Bburago Ferrari Monza SP1 (silver with yellow stripe)
Bburago Signature Ferrari 458 speciale (not shown in my collection thread yet, will be modded first)
KK-scale Ferrari GTO (red)
KK-scale Ferrari Testarossa (white, miami vice look-a-like)
Kyosho Caterham super 7 (green/aluminium)
Kyosho De Tomaso Pantera GT5 (white)
Kyosho Lamborghini Miura S (red)
Kyosho Lamborghini Miura SVR (red)
Kyosho Lancia Delta Intergrale rally car (Martini livery)
Minichamps Alfa Romeo GTA junior
Minichamps Benetton B194 (J. Verstappen Hungary 1994)
Minichamps Mercedes SLS black (Shmee150 limited edition, is on its way, not sure it will arrive before 1st of jan)
Norev BMW 507 (red)
OttoMobile Toyota Supra TRD (silver)
Schuco Mercedes 280 SL (green)
Solido Porsche 964 RS (yellow)
Spark Mazda 787b (Le mans 1991 winner)
Spark Oreca 07 Gibson (Racing team Netherlands, incl all driver signatures)
It wasn't my most 'productive' year in term of numbers, with 'only' 26 (or 25 if the SLS is here not in time) as I had a lot of other things to spend money and time on this year involving some serious projects to the house and I also tried to step away from sealed models. I didn't fully succeeded in that last part, but the percentage of new sealed models is a lot lower than in the previous years.
Also didn't do as much modding projects this year, only the Norev Porsche 930 turbo got finished. I have two other undergoing mods (a Countach Turbo and the 458 Speciale) and many others planned, but I think the girlfriend would like me to finish some parts of the house first

Re: What Models did you add in 2020?
I will do the next reviews on those.
Will do a regular review in the coming future (given time obviously), like the Spark Donkervoort, Autoworld 1967 Camaro, ACME Mustang GT350, Tarmac Works Nissan GT-R, and some other brands that aren't reviewed much or yet on the site. With Covid staying here for a while and the house projects coming to an end there should be some time to do reviews
Ow and I forgot the most important thing Everyone, have a very happy Christmas (a bit late I know) and a very good and foremost healthy 2021!!!
Re: What Models did you add in 2020?
Thank you sir! Don't ever forget to be honest and tell collectors how you really feel about a model. Again, thank you, and yest Merry Christmas!
Re: What Models did you add in 2020?
I will get the 600LT but preferably in grey. It is supposed to come back later. If not I will pick up the blue. Agree with the 365P Speciale I missed it when released a few years ago and had to be very patient to finally find one. I now own six Tecnomodel, 3 Ferrari and 3 Alfa. The originality of their subject matter is their strong point, the lack of details and sometimes historic accuracy are their downsides.[KRAFTIG] wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 1:05 amNice additions. I voted for the CMC MB 600 Pullman although I understand that at this price point it’s not for everyone.

I was bad and bought at least 80 cars lol. If I document them here I am going to get chest pains for the amount of $$$ I spent lol.

I'm the complete oposite of that, I keep track of everything (hey, you got OCD or not...) to keep myself winthin some limits. So since I came back to the hobby in 2016 I started to keep track of my expensis regarding the hobby and as you see, 2020 was a bit average for me:
But still a lot of money
Re: What Models did you add in 2020?
LOL, I have something similar too. I know what I paid for each, I don't even want to share the grand total lol
Re: What Models did you add in 2020?
Interesting pattern. If I understand the yearly charts correctly you keep the model spending under control 1st half of the year or so, but somehow pressure is building up and from this point there is undeniably a catch up happening.Marcel171281 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 5:03 amwhahahahaJamesonsViggen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 6:12 pmI was bad and bought at least 80 cars lol.
