Thank you sir!
Re: Models a Collector should not be WITHOUT...
today's pick...Minichamps MB 300SL. I only have the Gullwing Coupes, but the Roadsters are excellent as well & shouldn't be overlooked.
Classic design, iconic styling & doors, awesome performance. Really well done by Minichamps. Some have said the body shape is incorrect (too long in trunk area)...I personally don't see it, but it is still, by far, the best 300SL available. Kyosho made one over 10 years ago & its pretty much awful (4x4 ride height, truck tires). Bburago made one close to 30 years ago & it isn't bad for a budget model, but obviously has very little detail.

I well deserved place here. This model is really nicely done by Minichamps. I was lucky to score a DE a few years back for a great price. Definitely a car any collector should seriously consider!

That looks SOOOO cool in convertible form. I don't think I've seen photos of it before. Thanks for sharing!
The Dealer Edition differs only with the addition of the Euro plates. I think there are some other subtle difference but they escape me now.

CMC 1:18 Porsche 911 (1964)
My next candidate is the Porsche 911 (1964) from CMC. If you are a Porsche fan you own it to yourself to save the extra coin to add this masterpiece to your collection. The timeless lines are wonderfully crafted, and attention to detail at the tiniest level are without compromise.

Oh yeah!
Another CMC Masterpiece.
Was thinking about getting it.
Ivory White is my choice but they are pretty rare now.
