Getting ready for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Post by J-B » Thu Jun 20, 2013 11:48 pm

I stopped by Toronto Motorsports this evening and picked up a True Scale Miniatures 1:18 display case, themed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. If nobody has one of these cases, while they are more expensive than many out there, they are great quality. Plus, they have other themed bases which are perfect for many race models.

Myself, I will be eventually putting my pre-ordered Spark Audi R18 e-tron quattro on display in this case. I can't wait to see if I'll be ordering another Le Mans winning car for this season! Anyone else watching the race?

Also, I have to give Derek and Toronto Motorsports a thumbs up :okay: for the friendly service and fair prices.

Cheers,

JB

I can't say I'm a huge fan but I definitely be checking in periodically through the race.

Are there plain samples of the TSM displayer? I'd love to get one for my desk without the livery theme.

Any pics of this display case? Also would you happen to know where the race will be streamed?

Sorry I'm late with my reply here...

Here's a pic of the display case I got:

I will be putting my R18 e tron quattro in the case once it arrives.

It was about $50 taxes in, which isn't too bad given the quality of these cases. I asked about the plain black versions, and it seems TSM hasn't been producing them lately but as soon as they do, Derek plans to get some in.

Great race this weekend!
