Stu
I think it is very limited release because I barely saw any for at retailers.
Luckily I have it, but Le Mans Winner is a must. :worthy:

Couple of months ago there were many of them on eBay.
Now very hard to find for adequate price except for Jelly Bean Green.
Happy I picked up one in the colour I want.

I have this one coming to me now. I got a fair price considering these are going for 3 times as much as its release date.
You will like it. I prefer it to GT Spirit even though as 1:1 it is ranked slightly below. Which colour did you order?

Same as the photo. I have the GT Spirit coming as well. It will be nice to compare the two.

I was searching mid 70s sports cars and remembered I don't have the Hot Wheels Elite 308 GT4. Did some searching and noticed the black/silver combo is become harder to find. I picked that one up along with the red just in case.

That 308GT4 is a very underrated model, In my opinion. I was really impressed with how nice that model is.

I hope it is good. I am not a huge fan of the car, but if it is well detailed then I'll be happy.

Didn't realize these have become sought after. They sell for $250+ on eBay.

AA's W126 SEC models have become scarce, too...though the racing versions are dirt cheap right now.

BMW 1800 TISA by AutoArt is becoming hard to find. Anyone on here have it? I recommend :okay:

Prices on Chaparrals by Exoto have jumped recently.
Only some months ago Exoto were selling these for 98 $ and now they are very hard to find at adequate price.
 Regret not getting any when they were widely available.

I was lucky enough to score on the 2C, but I'm yet to get the D and E. The prices really skyrocketed.

Some of the ones I've missed, and may never be able to find again:

1. Kyosho Ferrari F40 high end street version in rosso corsa

If anyone sees it, tell me. Please. Unbelievable that the best model of the F40 is now the rarest, while Kyosho continues to crank out other F40's with equally high detail, but ruined by various non-original parts like the LM wing, aftermarket wheels, and other horridness. The original F40 in its pure form is surely no more difficult to make than these abominations. But it now sells for $400+, while the "lightweight with LM wing" goes for $160. Even the original street F40, not "high end", goes for $300+ now. That's how much people want a good F40. And don't even get me started about Hot Wheels and their warmed-over Bburago mold, with its hideous seam for the uprights of the rear wing!

2. Kyosho Countach 5000 (blue QV or yellow). Haven't seen it in a long time. The yellow goes for $300+.
3. Kyosho Countach prototype in green. A mythical beast like the Yeti or Loch Ness Monster.
4. Kyosho 308 Paris Salon debut version (not a high priority for me, but still...)

Also, although the AA Zonda R in fantasy color scheme of white with Italian stripes is still available at below MSRP, the original all-carbon version without the (ugly) extended air scoops in the nose is now the object of scalpers asking $500+. So glad I still have mine.
