Restoration Hardware die cast (Franklin Mint)

Post by Stick » Fri Jan 05, 2024 3:26 pm

Hi all, I'm very new at this forum stuff (just joined) , actually new to any forums 🤷‍♂️
Very sorry if I'm posting this question in the wrong place.
I have a very small collection of die cast lower end cars, but I did receive a few cars years ago that I believe are very nice. (2008)

1968 Shelby GT-500KR fastback (limited addition)
1968 Shelby GT-500KR convertible (limited addition)
1965 Shelby GT-350 fastback
All were made by Franklin Mint but sold by Restoration Hardware in Canada I believe.
The box has VOITURE DE COLLECTION written on it.

I'm looking to sell the two GT-500kr cars (in the future) but not sure if they are worth more or less because of the different box they come in.
The box is not colored like normal Franklin boxes. These are brown with a colored car on it.

I've looked everywhere to try and find info with no success, so I was directed to this forum.

Thanks, and sorry again if the post is in the wrong area.

Hi welcome, have you tried eBay to see if anything along the lines sold for? Not familiar with the above, sorry.

Thanks for the reply, I have but didn't find any Franklin Mint die cast cars sold from Restoration Hardware.
Did find plenty of Franklin Mint cars with the colored Franklin Mint box though.

Thanks again ....
