** VOTE FOR YOUR 2013 MODEL OF THE YEAR! **
All, the voting booth is now open! Things are little different as I decided to use the MAIN WEBSITE POLLING STATION (mid way down main page, right side). The image below will guide you there just in case you can't find your way... So please take a few minutes to cast your vote. This year we feature 13 models from 10 different brands.
My vote went to OttOmobile's Volkswagen Golf W12 Concept Car. Main reason it was my most anticipated model for 2013 and overall fit and finish is very good. Close second was the GT Spirit Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8. Nice surprise from a rookie manufacture! What is yours?

I went with the Lotus. If a model is the best of the year, it has to be open. A sealed model can't compare to sealed. When you can take apart the body of the Lotus and see the amazing detail of it power plant, it is hard to pick a model that is sealed.

GT Spirit Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8.
Looks great, the execution is spot on and the price give me hope that I could still collect "diecast".

Jon makes a valid point & from what I've seen the TSM Lotus is outstanding....still, I voted for the GTS Porsche 964. Every time I look at the model (or even pics), I'm 100% glad I bought one...maybe its just the Porsche-freak in me, but it pushes all my buttons.

GTS piece is truly a great model. The execution on the rims are the best I've seen. So good in fact that look to be aluminum in composition vs. the plasticGavin wrote:Jon makes a valid point & from what I've seen the TSM Lotus is outstanding....still, I voted for the GTS Porsche 964. Re: ** VOTE FOR YOUR 2013 MODEL OF THE YEAR! **
I'm usually a bit more circumspect when it comes to things like this, tending to hedge my bets and name several models but not this year. This year the clear winner for me is the AUTOart Alfa Romeo 33TT/12
I find the execution of this model to be just about flawless. Cars with large, hinged body sections like this one tend to have at least some fit problems. This cars fit is better than any other in my collection and that includes cars like the CMC Ferrari 312P, the Exoto MB C9, the GMP Ferrari 330P4, the PMA/Minichamps Porsche 956 and the TSM Porsche 936.
Great graphics, paint, fit, stance & detail and at a fair price - a clear winner to me

I'd be happy with the Alfa won. I really REALLY want one, but they are so expensive.
