yup...that's a good one. I've meant to buy this one, but something has always come up. Red is my favorite color, by a long shot.

Btw...it wasn't a concept car. 25 were produced, according to Callaway's site. http://www.callawaycars.com/the-company ... -cars/c12/

That's a great one. I have the black non-R Coupe...beautiful model.

I'll also add the AA XJS. I don't have one, but they are relatively cheap.

I had both once, sold the non-R version shortly after I got the R. Both are exceptionally done!

Well if you're into concept car's here's a nice edition by an iconic brand SHELBY. The Shelby Cobra Concept by AUTOart is beautifully crafted. A model that can be sourced for less than $40.

Nicely detailed, paint was perfect as well as to decaling, nice for Minichamps.

I agree it's a decent model and one that would gravitate to hot hatch fans, BUT can you get this for for $78 all the time?

Even though they aren't producing die-casts any more there are still a number of these available and they are very good for 1:43 scale, and the cars, of course, are classics.

Manufacturer: HPI Racing
Make: Porsche 956 Group C sports racing prototype
Price: Many can be purchased at discount for $49. Some are higher at $63.
Available: Mfr has stopped production, but many are still available in retailer stocks.

Photos:
This car is the Jacky Ickx/Derek Bell No. 1 car that won Le Man 24 hrs in 1982.

Nice detail in the engine area for 1:43 at this price point.
