Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!
I sold the yellow for the blue. Lovely pair!
Re: Random Model Pic of the Day!
The yellow is actually an improved Welly. The blue is Aa.
The Welly is very decent to be honest. I only had to do some things like lower the front ride height, redid the interior. Removed the plastic seat belts and replaced with ribbin type with photo-etched buckles, added carpet and repainted the black parts for flatter black to remove that plastic shine. Also I repainted the tail light/rear garnish frame, wiper and inner pipes to flat back. Lastly, the wheels to plain silver as I'm not a fan of chrome rims.
The actual Welly model cost $40 and it can now sit side by side the Aa without feeling insecure. Haha!

It's definitely a good model for the money, I bought one too. But sold quickly once I got my hands on an AUTOart piece.Nicadraus wrote: ↑Mon Jul 18, 2022 4:32 amThe yellow is actually an improved Welly. The blue is Aa.

It's a shame the old AUTOart Daiblo SV and Roadster don't have pop-up headlights, otherwise I would own one already.
