Advice?

Post by Shambles » Sat Mar 18, 2017 9:06 pm

I somewhat new to collecting die cast cars. I built hundreds of plastic kits, but just can't do it to my standards as I age. So I started collecting mostly 1:24 Danbury, Franklin, and WCPD cars. I have a few 1:18 Exoto and others but it's a learning curve. I'd like to know the group's suggestions on other high quality brands that are appreciating in value.

Thanks yall.

First off if you're in the hobby for $$ reasons this is not the hobby for you. Brands I like: CMC, AUTOart, BBR, Schuco

CMC. I bought mine for under $200. They are worth nearly double now.

Avoid Exoto.

AutoArt is spotty but has some fine ones.

Autoart diecast models in general seem to be doing good. With everyone still having doubts about the current plastic line, the original Autoarts as f.e. the Jaguar XJ13, Pagani's or the Honda NSX are real gems. They have amazing detailing and are very rare.
