Those GMP '65s are fantastic, but agreed....to much for me.

The Maisto '65 is a nice alternative for very little money (one of their best models, In my opinion...on par with the Morgan Aero 8, that I think you have).

with Ertl's '67 427 (I normally wouldn't have bought the Ertl, but found it on CL for only $5...meaning btwn these 2 below, I have only $20 in them  )

If you're only going for one C2, though...the AA '63 Split Window is hard to beat (love the dark blue one).

I was initially was going with red but I decided to go with silver/blue, because I switched the 1970's C3 from the grey to red. I know you're not going to like my decision, but it looks so hot in red with the chrome!

not at all...I love both color choices. I LOVE red Corvettes & that '70 looks fantastic. The silver blue is a very cool, somewhat unusual shade...I'd be perfectly happy with both.

It funny with American cars - i.e. Corvette and Viper, for some reason they don't sell well out of gate :scratchhead: Then when qualities are scare the prices goes bonkers, C6 Z06 is a perfect example. Be patient you can find deals now and again...
