GT Spirit Porsche 911 Slant Nose (930)

Post by [KRAFTIG] » Fri Apr 03, 2015 1:08 pm

This beauty arrived in the mail on Friday, the 1:18 GT Spirit Porsche 911 Slant Nose (930). Overall I'm pleased with it. Hell of an improvement over the dated Revel release. I'll be handing over my old Revell to my nephew this afternoon. Well enjoy the pics!

Awesome model. One of my very first models I got as a boy was the Revel 930 slant nose convertible. I pushed that thing around on the carpet until the doors fell off, which they did.

Great story. I just passed on the Revell piece to my nephew yesterday :)

Congrats on the red Porsche 930 Slant Nose. It's is definitely the best color for it.

I emailed GT Spirit this morning and voiced my interest in them doing the Porsche 930 Flat Nose Cabriolet also. They seemed interest and took note of my suggestion.

to be fair, it did come out in the late '80's. Compared to Bburagos of the time, it wasn't too bad.
