The Mustang Eleanor: An Iconic Car and Available for You!

Die-Cast Club’s Mustang Eleanor is the first 1:8 scale model of the Shelby Mustang GT500 officially licenced by Denice Shakarian Halicki, the wife of H.B. “Toby” Halicki, creator of the original 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds.

This build-up takes its cues from the 2000 remake, incorporating Eleanor’s aerodynamic roof and trunk, sleek hood with distinctive stripes, and eye-catching air scoop across both sides – all captured in that striking Pepper Gray. The trunk and hood open to reveal the Nitro Tank and Ford small-block racing engine respectively, while further details found in this 22 inch-long replica include a hood pin extending from the front grille, fuel filler, and customized “LYN 274” license plate. The headlights and brake lights turn on too, so you can show off your model at any time of the day or night.

Peer inside and you’ll find incredible minutiae specific to this tailored vehicle like the NOS Switch, Go Baby Go gearshift, and an intricate dashboard featuring rev counter, fuel gauge, and more. The smooth steering wheel also turns the front tires… although we don’t advise you to attempt the intense stunts you’ll have seen in Gone in 60 Seconds.

While it may not go in 60 seconds, the Mustang Eleanor is sure to be a sell-out success, so secure your build-up model by subscribing directly through the Die-Cast Club.
