GT Spirit 1:18 BMW 1M Coupe (E82) Valencia Orange

It maybe one of the most requested models in 1:18 scale since the E82 BMW 1M was released. The team at GT Spirit have listened, the BMW compact powerhouse will finally see light. Model is still in pre-production phase, taillights are due to be updated based on the provided images. No specific release date has been set but model is expected summer 2014. Only 2000 pieces will be made with a special edition Blue version is in the works. No plans for White version to be developed at this time.

I would prefer diecast too, just to look at the motor, but at this point I'll take anything in 1:18 I almost bought the 1:1 but the RS in the end won out

I thought the car was only made in Orange, Black and White. Maybe its just for the North American market

like most modern engines, there isn't much to look at because of those awful plastic covers.


I just got a Kyosho 135 earlier this year, but I really want this one & it has to be orange. Pretty sure it only came in black, white & orange...though this one (wrapped it seems, not painted) looks pretty good.

they have different names, but who knows...they could be pretty much the same.

Fire Orange for the GTS, Valencia Orange for the 1M.

The GTS Fire Orange is non-metallic colour while the Valencia Orange is.

Since I'm part of the theam, I'm really really really excited about this release. It will have a special value for me, perhaps one the last I will sell if I have to ditch my collection one day.
