There is a limited edition 1:18 Kyosho/GT Spirit Koenig Countach Twin Turbo in Yellow in development. Sources tell us only 48 pieces will be issued. We’re not sure if this is an Asian market special or European exclusive. The Koenig Countach will be released this coming April. Retail is suggested @ $149.95US.

Whew that is a lot of bright bright yellow. I think they will sell 48, but 100 would have been a stretch.

Too much ... yellow. I am sure they will sell out, though. 48 pieces is low enough that people that dont even like the car will buy it.

would have loved the blue for myself. But the plan is to get a white autoart one and paint the interior white

Nice I love that blue one! I finally got one last year, easily my favorite purchase of the year. I also have the old LP400 that was enhanced to LP500R with the white pinstripes. Kind of a best of both worlds. I love the Countach, frankly this is the first scale model Countach I am not found of. The rear wing looks generic and devoid of the character of the traditional QV wing. Koenig made cars perform better and look worse In my opinion, and to me looks are just as important as performance.

Thats classic, make a replica of a twin turbo lambo that is sealed with no motor. Replicating its yellow exterior with yellow wheels is good enough... Sealed is such a joke and thats all everyone is making now a days.
