Just realized this is RHD, but I also think this is for a UK special edition of the Turbo S. If these were commissioned by Porsche in the UK, hopefully it's not just a DE with the overpriced display case!mazspd3jase wrote:[KRAFTIG] wrote:GT Spirit

Yes! And since Minichamps are manufacturing in China just like all the rest, the retail price could not possibly be that much greater. I think a lot depends on AutoArt with their new developments and at what price point they launch.[KRAFTIG] wrote:Did you see my comments on the last Minichamps artice - new for week 05? There prices in my opinion need to be justified. They have no leg to stand on when you can by a comparable GT Spirit for 2/3 less!slartibartfast229 wrote:I now shudder when I see a subject I may be interested in, listed as coming as a Minichamps sealed resin. Some years ago (and it always seems to take that long!) they promised a 1/18th scale Ford Capri RS2600 '1971 Spa 24 hours winner'. Now it seems to have been moved to the resin department, and I wonder if I can still afford it. It's a shame. I have the glorious Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 model, which finished second in the same race, and which cost me €70. I wanted to have the Capri alongside the 300 and my AutoArt Alfa Romeo GTAm third place car as a 'theme'. Minichamps - get real!

In one of Kraftig's pics of the Welly display, there is a white colored 991 on the left side of one of the pics....I'm hoping that it is the 50th anniv 911.458 wrote:I want the 911 50th too, but white. Re: NUREMBERG TOY FAIR - Jan. 28 to Feb. 2, 2015
thanks David and Kraftig.....After you both said that, I went a searching on ebay and came across the GTAutos 1:43 porsches. Insanely overpriced for tiny cars! I have a few 1:43 Mazdas and Ferraris...but never really gotten into that scale. I think I paid $25 for the mazdas and got the Ferraris at toyRus for $7 a piece. The main reason I got them was for my xmas village I set up LOL. Not to belittle or downplay anyone who collects 1:43 scale....the selection of vehicles is simply staggering.... I just cant justify paying high costs for such tiny cars and generally my only option to even find them is online.
