Really well-done models, considering the Brumos #59 car was released almost 10 years ago. TSM used these molds as a basis for their series of 935's, but from what I've read they've increased the detail content. I haven't bought any of the TSM cars, as they're at least 2x what I paid for these (about $60 shipped, each).

Seriously nice cars! The interiors are exceptional, love the window mesh work. No Carousel cars in my collection. When did they go OOB? Did they manufacture anything I would collect?
Re: Carousel 1 Porsche 935's
Very cool car
Re: Carousel 1 Porsche 935's
Thanks guys!
Davide...pretty sure it was just a couple years ago (2010, maybe?). They have a great lineup of cars, but they're almost all racing cars. They do have street versions of the '69 Corvette, but In my opinion, they're not as nice nor as detailed as the 935's. I have 4 C1's in my collection, all racers, though. These 2 Porsches & these:
'69 Corvette L88 (raced at Sebring)
March-Cosworth 84C Pennzoil Z-7 #6 (Indy 500 winner)...the only Indy car in my collection.

Thanks. I do like the Indy car.
Re: Carousel 1 Porsche 935's
Its excellent (I'll add a separate thread today) & one of C1's best models.

Would you still recommend the Brumos 935? I compared images of the Exoto version to it and the Exoto seems to have a lot more details.

Re: Carousel 1 Porsche 935's
Very nice Porsche's Gavin. I used to have the Brumos, but sold it. I regret selling it, but I did make a lot of money. Still wish I had it. And the other Porsche I would like to add. I missed out on an ebay auction this past week. It looks cool as hell.
Re: Carousel 1 Porsche 935's
Thanks, Stratos & Jon.
I would absolutely recommend the C1 version. The Exoto looks good & it had better. I don't believe that this #59 car has been released (I could be wrong)...but Exoto.com is showing an almost $600 price. The model is not that good & not 3+ times better than the C1.
