[HSM] MB SL65 AMG Black Series
Re: [AOS HSM] - Spark Aston Vantage GTE (Art Car)
Beautiful addition, congrats!

Pics are again, clickable for larger size.
This guy was not a planned purchase. It was not on the Watch List.
I bought the green RWB 964 because it was just released (at the time), and I thought I may as well take advantage of the flat rate shipping and grab another car. This one is kind of cool. It's got massive wings and the ride height and short tail make it look like it's serious business for off-roading. It is a Pikes Peak car and I have the most plebeian fanboy-ish taste in off-road racing cars, so I have had previous exposure to this car's popularity, and so here it is in my dwelling.
Yeah I knew what I was getting into when I opted for the Otto over Top Marques, but after going for $100+ models all the time, it felt nice I could pick up a decent model for less. I was aware Top marques had actual mesh instead of this phony look-alike, but I did convince myself I could just modify this in the future if I have the motivation.
Yada yada interior stuff which I care little for but putting up for prospective buyers[/run on sentence]
It's got calipers. Good. That's good enough for me.
Ooooh...! Pretty! I mean- solid grills; Bleh.
Again the massive wings in the front and back are the selling point to the Quattro Pikes Peak. Shame I don't like the Peugeot 405. It would be cool to see the Monster SX4 or Fiesta Pikes Peak.
Would you believe me if I told you this had plenty of paint chips, the front wing had broken off as well as the rear wing? It wouldn't matter because I avoided photographing the noticeable spots. Most of them anyway. Wink.

Dennis, in love with the livery and you sold it. This doesn't make sense???Kwando wrote:Gorgeous! Absolutely in love with the livery. Did you just get it? I just sold mine.

Enjoyed it and now moving on to other cars I love more since I never really collect race cars I'm now enjoying them vicariously through these pictures![KRAFTIG] wrote:Dennis, in love with the livery and you sold it. This doesn't make sense???

You don't have to buy what you love.
I like a lot of rally cars, but I ain't buying any Sunstars or AUTOarts.

While I noticed your model is no longer on your eBay store, I bought mine in March from another gentleman. Did you manage to sell it for the price you asked for?Kwando wrote:Gorgeous! Absolutely in love with the livery. Did you just get it? I just sold mine.

Great! One of the four Art Cars I like.
Re: [AOS HSM] - Minichamps BMW 320i Gr.5 Art Car
Thanks!
Mine is Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein, and Alexander Calder.
If I stare at it any longer, Sandro Chia will be a favourite too.
Ho? And which would they be?Sanchez wrote:One of the four Art Cars I like.
