Newbie Question

Post by RobJames » Thu Dec 28, 2017 9:19 pm

Hi,

My mom just gave me her 1953 diecast ~30 piece model set of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation procession. It includes a number of small figures, some on horseback, and a horse drawn carriage. My grandfather bought it for her in Washington D. C. in 1953. I’d guess it’s made from lead. Or at least has leaded paint.

I have no idea what brand it is or what it is worth. Has anyone seen something similar before? Can’t figure out how to post photos here.

Thanks,
Rob

Hey Rob, I have no idea either, but take a look around on eBay. Everything ends up there eventually :rotfl: Goodluck with your research
