1973 Porsche 911 RSR 24H of Daytona Sunoco #6

So, I have previously acquired the GT Spirit version of this model.

And now I understand that Solido is going to release one, as well?

Anyone have any knowledge of the Solido version, or opinions between the two?

Thanks!

I have the road car version of the 2.8 RSR from GTS and had a Solido, so I can't comment on the livery but it's the same model otherwise, more or less.

I think the Solido is less accurate and a little less quality compared to the GTS, with the wheels being slightly too large and the steering wheel being massive. However, the Solido is a lot cheaper than the GTS and has opening parts whereas the GT Spirit, of course, does not.

Suppose it comes down to preference and if you can sacrifice (a slight amount) of quality to have opening parts. Can't really go wrong at the price level of the Solido, though.

Out of the two the GTS will be more refined. However, the Solid is great base for project!

I've got the 1/43 version by Make Up - although I have about 20 MU Porsches it's the only one I've ever displayed - it's gorgeous . Like a lot of the better MU models it makes larger scale ones look bad .
