Just came in. Happy to report the carbon fiber is nice and shiny and on par with the Centenario. Apart from that, I got the impression that the rest is identical to the first release. So the same wheels, which are a bit disappointing. But, overall it's good.

Yes I am. It didn't give me the same excitement as the Centenario or Huayra BC, but still a highly recommended model.

On to the next arrival. Less than 10% of the price of the last addition, so keep that in mind when looking at the photo's. It's a long time since I bought a model of this price range, but Bburago really deserve some compliments for making this. They nailed it. I measured the dimension and the shape, size and stance is spot on. Details are more than decent for the price and paint is so much better than they ever did before. It lacks engine detail, has doglegs and the interior is a bit rough, but it's 35 euro's! Great base for modifications as well. Never been so happy with a 30 euro model! :woot:

That is an impressive model from Bburago. So tempted to add one, BUT I only collect RED Ferraris. Model of the year contender for sure!

Finally I had some time to finish the Norev Porsche 930. Happy how it turned out.

I hope they are going to do more re-releases. As you maybe know, I was out of this hobby for 10 years or so, so I missed a lot of their classics.

Next addition is also a Kyosho re-release. Recently also reviewed here on diecast society. I knew for months it was coming, but only this week decided to buy it. AUTOart also has announced the SVR, so wait for that one, or take the Kyosho?

Two reasons to take the Kyosho, first this car has the black interior and AA has shown pictures of the SVR from a period it had an awful gold/beige interior. Of course not sure what AA is going to do, but not taking chances here, they f**ked up colours and specs before, plus, the Kyosho will probably be sold out before AA releases sample pictures. Second reason is, that from the Kyosho I know the details are good, with the AA this is guess work and with the cost cutting nowadays, I'm not sure it will be better than the Kyosho.

Altough the molds from Kyosho are old, the shutlines etc are not bad at all. Also happy to report, no QC problems on both the LP400S and SVR (took no chances and went to the shop to look at them instead of ordering online).

Enough talk, pictures:

The next new model in the collection wasn't planned. The Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR made by AUTOart was on my list, but more or less waiting for a discount somewhere. Well last week CK dropped the price on this model about 65%, making it a lot easier to buy one. I wouldn't be able to justify the normal 219 euro price on this model, but 79 is a different story.

The model itself is pretty good actually, some engine details are a bit rough, but overall very nice. Very tiny as well, look at the size of the Vespa next to it :rotfl:

Neat! You can't beat the price! I believe Wes, memeber here here modified one of these.

This engine is begging for mods. At some point probably will give it a go, but I have so much models I want to (and will) modify that is has to wait in line.
