I’d normally buy one of these, but at GT Spirit’s newly inflated price of US$180……… Pass.

  2. Amlv20 says:

I was looking forward to this as I missed out on the gt350r and focus rs.but at $180 without shipping, yea ill pass.

Agreed. I think GTS will loose some momentum. And if they can’t keep the QC gods at bay their market share will get even smaller.

      • Ollie says:

With companies like Top Speed doing the likes of McLarens, Paganis and Jaguars at $135 fixed (excluding shipping), also with low production runs of 999 per model and equivalent quality to GT Spirit, there’s no reason GT Spirit couldn’t maintain a similar price point and still make money. I totally agree GTS will start to lose momentum. That’s a shame for the hobby in general.

like all USA exclusive GT SPIRIT models , you will also going to see this model in different color for pre-order soon in there website which will be little bit less expensive

like they did with the Ford GT , Dodge Viper etc’

  4. Wes says:

The price is high because ACME wants a piece as well. These models are made by GT Spirit, imported by ACME and sold through them, so buy the time that happens, there are like 10 middle men that need to be paid. That explains the $180 price

  5. Roberto says:

Cool subject matter but the detailing is not consistent with a $180 model. Too much $$

  6. Scott says:

Yah have to say i call bullshit on this one doesnt look good at all.

  7. Sac says:

So my wait for RAPTOR 1/18 with opening parts still continues…not a fan of resin..

  8. Pablo Pozo says:

no way any bode will pay $180, they can keep their 500 units at that price…….besides it looks very rough on the detailing, if it is preproduction I can understand but the price really makes no sense, I think GT Spirit is done!
