Our Looksmart Formula One history lesson continues with their latest release, the 1:18 Alfa Romeo 179 1979. The exterior is painted in the famed Red/White. The 179 is completed in resin with closed-body design. Shelf date is late Q1 2017.
About the Alfa Romeo 179… “The Alfa Romeo 179 is a Formula One car which was used (in different variants) by the Alfa Romeo team from 1979 to 1982. The 179 made its debut at the 1979 Italian Grand Prix, replacing the flat-12 engine Alfa Romeo 177. During its lifespan there were many versions and 179D version was used for the last time at the 1982 South African Grand Prix.”

I saw the 2 Alfa F1 in Nuremberg modellism exhibition and they are very good, maybe it is the light on the pictures that make them looks toys…
While I know it’s resin, do the wheels roll at least?
