Paragon New BMW F82 M44 – Austin Yellow Dealer Edition

Paragon officially released images of their latest BMW. The F82 M44, in Austin Yellow, is the latest piece from their ‘Dealer Edition’ series.  The model looks respectable for the most part, BUT there is one epic fail, the wheels are too small!  Why would anyone use more rubber than rim for an ‘M’ series car?  Honestly, someone needs to evaluate the R&D process at Paragon.  Hey Paragon, I’m available for consultation, email me!  Uli Nowak, expect some orders for 19 inch rollers soon!

  1. Jase G says:

Great color but that ride height and the absolutely wrong size/style wheel completely ruin an otherwise decent looking diecast.

  2. Alex says:

Rim design and size is absolutely correct for stock non-upgraded wheels that come standard with all M3 and M4 cars. It is the most boring M wheel ever and rather strange choice for the model, but it is not wrong.

    • Wes Shakirov says:

It’s not the rim design or the size that is the problem. It is the tire profile. The sidewall should not be so thick.

      • DS Team says:

Correct. A premium car should have the premium option wheel. 19″ minimum here, and the lack of it is truly puzzling from a collector point of view!

    • Tony says:

From what I “heard”: The final design had to be approved by BMW. Who knows what may have happened behind the scenes. So even if Paragon wanted to use a different wheel design (the 19″ version) it may not have had the approval from BMW.
