TopSpeed gives us a sneak preview at their upcoming 1:18 Jaguar F-Type Bloodhound SSC. As with all TopSpeed models to date, the F-Type is manufactured in resin and features closed-body design. The Jaguar F-Type Bloodhound SSC project is Jaguar’s attempt at the world land speed record. We’ve included a short video of official parachute testing.

Jaguar is no longer a sponsor and all F-type videos were yanked from their Youtube except for one. Jag remains a technical partner because they are supplying an engine but all mention of them is replaced by Geely.

So the licensing issue, that TSM was having with Jaguar,is resolved?
No idea. Contact TSM for comment.
The issue was never with Jaguar in general. It was with the Jaguar-branded Formula E cars. The press release was very specific on that.
Can anyone please tell me where I can buy one of the 1:18 resin F-Type blood hound ssc models as shown above..
May I thank you in advance…
Regards
Simon
Model is not available for sale at the moment. Any of our sponsors should be able to sell you one when it comes to market.
I don’t think TopSpeed should worry about doing this model considering the discontinuation of jaguar as a sponsor. Also, the model looks too much like a kids toy with those plastic looking orange rims and the parachute arrangement at the rear IMO really destroys the great lines of the F Type Jaguar. On the other hand the Project 7 model looks incredible and is an absolute must for TS to produce.
I thought they did a great job of the Polaris White Jag and I’m looking forward to the release of the Fire Sand version. Rather than do this Bloodhound model, I’d rather see them do some other colour variations like an AWD Coupe version in Italian Racing Red with black Tornado rims. Or a BRG version would look fantastic.
